About the Dashboard

Everything at a glance. Download queues, *arr activity, subtitle wants, media requests, live streams, and library totals — grouped by what each service is. Services you haven't configured show as "not set up" and are skipped.

How to use the Queue

The workflow: review what's paused → run the predictor or check upgrades → resume one modest download at a time → pause everything when done.

  • Search filters by release name.
  • Resume starts a single download. Keep it to one at a time — the storage array is nearly full, and each download needs ~3× its size in transient space while unpacking.
  • Select marks items for the Predictor or for batch planning in Upgrades.
  • Delete removes the item from the NZBGet download queue only. Your Sonarr/Radarr library and files on disk are never touched.
  • Pause All / Resume All control the global download switch. When in doubt, leave it paused.

How to use Upgrades

Upgrades are queued items that would replace a file you already have with a better-quality one.

  • Smaller (saves space) — the upgrade is smaller than your current file. Safest: frees space.
  • Equal size — roughly the same size.
  • Modest growth — slightly larger, still safe.
  • Smart Planner (top of this tab) does the storage math for you: pick Save Space, Keep Same, or Modest Upgrade, review the before/after numbers, then tap Go. Nothing downloads until you confirm.
  • Batch size caps how many items get planned (1–20, default 5). Max total GB optionally caps the combined size.
  • Plan Batch simulates the download against free space and shows exactly what fits before you commit. Nothing downloads until you confirm.

Picks a safe batch and does all the storage math for you. Choose a mode, review the numbers, then tap Go. Nothing downloads until you confirm.

Upgrade overview

Verified Downgrades

Items Sonarr/Radarr would definitely reject — lower quality and lower/equal custom formats and below cutoff and the scorer agrees. All four checks must pass. Anything uncertain stays in Skip.

Failed Imports

Downloads that finished but Sonarr/Radarr refused to import. Review the reason, then retry the import, delete from the queue, or ignore. Nothing is removed automatically.

How to use Review

These downloads couldn't be matched to anything in your Sonarr or Radarr library — usually a naming mismatch, an unmonitored title, or something that doesn't belong.

  • Predict runs the import predictor on the item to see if Sonarr/Radarr would take it anyway.
  • Match links the download to the right Sonarr series or Radarr movie by hand — search your library, tap the title, done. Matched items stop appearing here.
  • Ignore hides it from this list (stored on this device only). Use it for things you've decided to keep around.
  • Delete removes it from the NZBGet download queue only. Your Sonarr/Radarr library and files on disk are never touched.
How to use Hunt

Hunt finds missing episodes and movies and quality upgrades in your Sonarr/Radarr libraries — the native Huntarr replacement.

  • Missing: monitored items that aired/released but have no file. Select, then Search selected asks Sonarr/Radarr to search your indexers.
  • Upgrades: items below their quality-profile cutoff. Each card shows current → cutoff quality, an estimated storage impact (from *arr quality sizes), and custom formats — so you can skip anything that would grow storage.
  • Found results land in NZBGet paused, per your safety rules. Nothing downloads automatically.
  • Searches are batched (max 10 at a time) to stay indexer-friendly. Every search is audit-logged.
How Health works

Health monitors your unpaused downloads for stalls and slow speeds — the native Cleanuparr Queue Cleaner replacement.

  • Paused items are never checked. Paused = normal, not stalled.
  • Stalled: unpaused with no progress for the threshold (default 30 min). Confidence grows the longer it's stuck.
  • Suggest-only: flagged items are shown here. You decide to retry or remove.
  • Every action is audit-logged.
About these insights

A snapshot of your queue, storage, and recent activity — refreshed every time you open this tab.

  • Queue counts and size brackets come straight from NZBGet.
  • Storage free/total is read from the download disk.
  • Activity counts server audit-log entries from the last 24 hours.

About malware results

File-level malware scan results for your downloads — blocklisted, whitelisted, and monitored releases, with the verdict behind each one.

Malware Scan Results

Persisted results from the scheduled malware scanner — the last ~20 scans, newest first. This view is suggest-only: nothing here auto-blocklists.

Interface

Basic mode shows the essentials. Advanced mode unlocks queue filters, batch planning, log-level controls, and debug tools.

Session

How long you stay signed in on this device. Applies to new logins; sessions now survive app restarts and updates.

Public exposure

For access via your public domain (Caddy on OPNsense + Cloudflare). The public base URL is used for QR pairing and passkey registration — it must be the exact domain, e.g. https://queuehand.example.com. Changing it later invalidates existing passkeys. See CADDY.md.

Only this IP's X-Forwarded-Proto/Host headers are honored. Leave blank if not behind a proxy.

Health monitoring

How often the Health tab re-checks your downloads while the tab is open (realtime monitoring). Minimum 15 seconds; 0 or blank disables auto-refresh.

Failed Imports Automation

Automatically handle failed imports using the failure taxonomy — sample files and not-a-Custom-Format-upgrade items are removed (never blocklisted), and plain waiting-to-import items get a retry nudge. Ambiguous rules (download-failed, archive-extract, matched-by-id, unknown) are suggest-only: check their box to flag matching items for your review — they never auto-handle anything. On by default — use the KILL SWITCH to stop instantly.

Service Configuration

API keys and URLs are stored locally on the server (/data/queuehand-config.json), never in git. After saving here, you can remove them from the TrueNAS YAML.

Passkeys

Add a passkey (Face ID / Touch ID / security key) for passwordless login. Your password still works as a fallback.

Recovery codes

Single-use backup codes for sign-in when your passkeys and password are unavailable. – remaining. Generating a new set invalidates the old one.

History

Every mutating action this app performs is recorded on the server audit log — queue pauses/resumes/deletes, config changes, logins. Nothing here is stored in the browser.

Tasks run on intelligent triggers plus adaptive intervals. Suggest-only tasks populate the Hunt/Health tabs for your review — they never auto-act. Graduated automations (failed imports, metadata prefetch) can be switched to auto per task. The master kill switch stops everything immediately.

Metadata Prefetch

Matches the whole queue against Sonarr/Radarr in the background and caches posters, overviews, years, and genres for 7 days, so the Queue and Predictor tabs show artwork instantly.

Cache status unknown.

Logging

Server log level applies immediately (no restart). App logs come from the server's in-memory buffer; NZBGet logs come from the NZBGet RPC.

Saved to the server via PUT /api/settings/log-level.

Danger Zone

Destructive actions live here. Every action requires typed confirmation and is audit-logged.

Danger zone

These actions permanently remove items from your Sonarr/Radarr libraries. They are manual-only, audit-logged, and require an admin session or a full-access device key — AI tokens are always rejected.

Case-sensitive. The server re-checks it against the live *arr title before deleting anything.
